Hi, I’m Paige Shannon—owner and lead stylist at Head Spa ILM in Wilmington, NC. I’ve been behind the chair since 2012, and after running my own salon (Hill & Klutch Studio) for several years, I realized the part of hairstyling I loved most wasn’t the styling itself—it was giving busy guests a quiet moment to breathe, reset, and feel genuinely pampered. That’s also when my curiosity about scalp health turned into a real passion, and eventually, into this head spa. At Head Spa ILM, I work with Milbon’s science-backed products to give your scalp and hair the care they deserve in a calm, intimate space that fits my personality. I’m naturally on the quieter side, but warm and chatty once you get to know me, and I love one-on-one connection. I’ve called Wilmington home since 2012, though I’m originally from the Philly area (Go Eagles 🦅). When I’m not in the spa, I’m at home with my two little boys—both under two—and my wonderful husband, all of whom keep life full, fun, and grounded. My goal is simple: that you leave feeling cared for, refreshed, and a little lighter than when you walked in.

Cancellation Policy

I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment
